Remote Educational Visits

The PTSF still has a desire to remotely access trauma centers’ electronic medical records in order to conduct inter-rater reliability reviews remotely! Please contact Lyndsey at ldiehl@ptsf.org if your center would be interested in a remote educational visit in 2016.

PTSF Registry Anywhere ICD-10 Test Database

The PTOS ICD-10 implementation date is quickly approaching! A TEST registry has been created via Registry Anywhere for trauma centers to test the new ICD-10 fields in the forthcoming COLLECTOR software as well as the ICD-10 TRICODE functionality. This is a test registry that all of the accredited and pursuing trauma centers will have access to. The sole purpose is for the registrars to view and/or enter data into the ICD-10 fields in order to get accustomed to the new ICD-10 fields and ICD-10 TRICODE. There is no need to enter any patient identifying information and none should be entered. Each trauma center has a unique Registry Anywhere login and COLLECTOR login. Instructions, log-in information, and the URL for Registry Anywhere ICD-10 Test Database were sent to each center in early December 2014. Please contact PTSF staff if you would like this information sent to you again.

Trauma Registrar’s Community

Take advantage of the Trauma Registrar’s Community on the PTSF website! The Trauma Registrar’s Community is a great place for registrars to interact with one another. The community allows registrars initiate and participate in discussions. The PTSF staff also posts valuable information to this community. To get started, sign-in or create an account on the PTSF website. This can be done by going to www.ptsf.org and clicking the sign-in or sign up today icons. Once you are signed in, click on the Community tab at the top of the PTSF homepage. Here you will see a list of many different communities. Scroll down to the Trauma Registrar’s Community and click ‘join.’
