That began as a low-key electric fence installation company in the 1980’s in Frederick, Maryland has grown to be one of the most trusted names in the deer fencing industry, providing quality do-it-yourself garden fences that stand up against the threat of crop damage due to wildlife nuisances such as white-tailed deer, elk, feral hogs and rodents. Located in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania since 2015, Trident Enterprises’ Deer Fence focuses on distribution of wholesale poly and metal deer fencing for garden protection under the Trident Enterprises name. In addition to their own line of fence accessories, such as ground stakes, driveway gates and corners and end systems, Trident Enterprises is proud to carry deer fence from TENAX — the largest manufacturer of barrier and safety fences in the United States. For homeowners and DIY’ers, Trident Enterprises runs the e-commerce website Deerbusters.com, offering the best fence kits, rolls and parts on today’s market for gardens, backyard enclosures and small farms. Deerbusters’ warehouse in California acts to help West Coast customers get garden fencing. In 2016, Trident Enterprises Deer Fence launched DeerbustersCanada.ca to service homeowners and growers across Canada, as well. What makes Deerbusters’ fence unique lies within the mesh design which creates a virtually invisible fence from approximately 20 feet away. This allows homeowners to have an unobstructed view of their Property and surroundings. Poly Deer Fencing is Deerbusters’ bestselling material, highly recommended for homeowners experiencing light deer pressure and digging rodents in gardens. Poly fences remain strong for 10-15 years in all-weather elements. If digging pests are of concern, Deerbusters carries PVC-coated metal deer fence — the strongest fence type available that are suitable for areas with higher deer traffic and more determined wildlife. Metal fencing lasts for 20-30 years in the field; and some metal fencing may even meet pool code! In addition to deer fencing, Deerbusters offers effective deer repellents and bird netting to safeguard gardens and fruit trees, as well as humane pet fences for domestic animals including dogs, cats and backyard chickens. Deerbusters’ Kitty Corral Cat Fencing System allows cats the freedom to roam outside without approaching external predators that may try to harm them. These cat fences are designed to gently sway to deter the cat from climbing the fence and include a top to keep the cat securely enclosed. Poly dog fence rolls are best for smaller, and calmer pups that will not challenge the fence; while metal dog fencing is better suited for larger, more rambunctious dogs. Trident Enterprises works with several government agencies, including the USDA and The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and partners with garden nurseries, orchards, vineyards, small businesses, universities, public gardens and national state parks on its projects. Trident Enterprises is proud to employ residents of Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Employers from all regions of the state across various industry sectors have seen their businesses grow directly because of the natural gas industry. Yet, the state is still not realizing its full potential when it comes to being a natural gas exporter. A lack of pipeline infrastructure has led investment to go to other states. If we truly want to cement the Commonwealth as a world-class energy hub, we need to make sure the proper steps are taken to efficiently get the natural gas to market. There are currently a number of significant pipeline projects going through the approval process in Pennsylvania, all of which have a huge economic impact on the Commonwealth. Not only will these pipelines boost investment, employment and production in the shale regions, the projects themselves represent some of the largest private investments in our Commonwealth’s history, supporting thousands of good-paying jobs during construction and hundreds of long-term jobs once operational. The Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline project is a $3 billion investment that will generate approximately $1.6 billion in additional wages, revenues and investments for our state’s economies. It will provide nearly 8,000 direct and indirect jobs, and it is designed to supply enough natural gas to meet the needs of more than 7 million homes and businesses. The PennEast Pipeline project is a $1.62 billion investment and will spur an additional $520 million in indirect and induced impacts in Pennsylvania. The project will support 12,160 jobs with $740 million in wages. Additionally, the state Department of Environmental Protection recently approved permits for the Mariner East Pipeline. This $3 billion investment for the Commonwealth will support more than 15,000 jobs a year and contribute $62 million in taxes over the two-year construction period. This pipeline is expected to sustain 300 to 400 permanent jobs and is expected contribute at least $100 million annually to our state’s economy once operational. Pipelines are the safest and most efficient way to transport natural gas, and the use of this gas will help bring new jobs to the state, keep the ones we have, help clean the air and expand our national security. Additionally, both businesses and residents will benefit from lower energy costs. Pipeline investment will create a ripple effect throughout the Commonwealth’s economy – revitalizing the state’s manufacturing sector and leading to more ancillary and downstream jobs. We can’t afford to lose this economic opportunity. These pipelines need to be built if we want to see these potential jobs become a reality. The PA Chamber has long supported these projects and has enthusiastically advocated for the approval of permitting on both the state and federal level. Pipeline development will improve the state’s competitive climate and secure our role as world-class energy leader and producer.
